Welcome to clayshed.com

I'm a ceramicist and visual artist living just north of the Adirondack Park in New York State. My ceramics and images are meant to bridge the gap between fine art and craft.
My ceramics are made to be worthy of their users' daily rituals. Avoid taking coffee to your lips in cups not worth kissing, but do take your meals in bowls declaring comfort and gratitude. In a world of industrial production, handmade work reminds us of the creativity in our own hands.
One of my favorite forms is the bowl; it’s so adaptable. The right bowl can be a coffee cup, soup bowl, pasta bowl, candy dish, or a rest for anything honorable.
